This is what Miles and Cameron are doing as I type. I froze one car, one dinosaur, one Batman and one Power Ranger in ice last week and they are trying to free them. They have two straws (for blowing hot air (which, consequently, they're full of)), a spray bottle, two plastic knives, a plastic hammer and a toy mallet. They've been hard at work for the last 20 minutes and it's looking like it will be awhile yet. So if you need a good way to get the kids outside for a half hour to 45 minutes, try this! They're having a blast!
So, uh, we got a little bored yesterday. I had boxes of Sophie's clothes all over her room getting them sorted and labeled to put in the closet/attic (she's gone through at least 6 boxes of clothes in her short 7.5 months on earth!) and I came across this little ducky costume I bought after Halloween last year. I found it at the Children's Place outlet for $2.99! Halloween can't come soon enough! She's hi-freakin'-larious in this outfit! The boys had to take a turn as well.

6 boxes!! You'd better watch out when she is a teenager! What a clotheshorse (0: She is just a doll. Oh, and I love the ice thing...release spiderman!!
oooo--you're making me excited for the holidays....luckily Hobby Lobby already has Christmas stuff in! aack!
the quinoa burgers were posted here http://onlinehealth-fitness.blogspot.com/2008/07/keen-wah.html I also liked the quinoa pudding...if you like rice pudding, it's the same idea.
ha! It looks like she enjoys being in the costume, too, which I'm sure will make Halloween even better!! Great pics!
That first picture of Sophie in the duck costume is priceless! She's so darn cute! And kudos on the busy work for the boys. I'm not sure Matthew is ready for this activity just yet, but I'll have to keep it in mind for later.
nati loved this post I HAVE to say!! She is sitting here poiting "baby" and saying some other jubberish pointing to the front door, I think she thinks you are out front again. silly!!
Anna, you are a Genious! and my Hero!
haha that's hilarious- love the ducky outfit. how creative are you with freezing those toys-- how on earth did you ever think of that ? :) hahaha
Not a genius. Just a thief. I stole that idea from my friend Jessica who has THREE boys!
Anna - Sophia's ducky costume looks almost like a Big Bird costume creation from 2005. She's so cute.
I like the ice block idea. EASY time filler!
does it get any cuter than Sophie in a duckie costume?.....i don't think so.
