There's peanut butter on my carpet...

And size 2T clothes in Miles' drawers. In the piano room there are three loads of laundry waiting to be folded and my bedroom has become the final resting place of all sorts of toys, newspapers and unpaid bills. The linen closet needs to be reorganized and the bedroom closets, too. Sheets need to be changed, the front porch is covered in leaves; the ironing board has taken up permanent residence outside of the master bath. The book shelf is cluttered, the garage is still housing all of my garage sale wares and the kids rooms have been declared disaster areas; last word was that FEMA was on the way to help.

But that will all have to wait tonight. Because I have a date.

With Bellward.

12:02 AM Friday, November 21, 2008. Me + Tinseltown Cinema = BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE (almost).

We must be sisters or something, because our housekeeping skills are nearly identical. But I'm with you: it will all have to wait, because I have a date, too. With Colie and the girls from DENTAC for some Italian food... NO KIDS PRESENT. WAHOO!

I decided I didn't want to stay up extra late to stand in line with all the teeny-boppers. does that mean I am not really a big enough fan? I'm gonna see a matinee on thanksgiving. I am jealous of you though. have fun!

Anna -- T-minus 100 minutes until Bellward:) I have a date too, and it will be fantastic. I have about 475 mgs of caffeine flowing through my veins right now, so I am not sure if I am SUPER excited or just high. Either way...

We're waiting on my FIL/MIL to arrive. FIL is sleeping on the couch and MIL is coming with us. We're leaving at 10. My two SIL's are already in line and they said it's getting crazy already. This is going to be nuts. AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. Anyone notice the Twilight commercials during the Office/30 Rock?
And seriously...the Office, 30 Rock and Twilight all in one night? I must be living right.

Your blog entries are so funny! Is there really peanut butter on your carpet? If so, oh my!! Enjoy your show..... :)

I'm seeing it tonight (after a media trip to New York this week, I couldn't handle a midnight show) and I'm excited! I can't wait to hear what you thought (without too many spoilers of course)!

Sara, thanks for your permission to spill my Bean:)

Anna, was it worth all the craziness? I find it interesting that Edward is actually Cedric from the Harry Potter movies. To all the HP fans...I guess this means that if Voldemort kills you, you become a Vampire. Whoa.

Yes, there was really PB on my carpet. But I cleaned it:) And several other things, but the laundry is still waiting to be folded. Folding laundry is my arch nemesis.
Was it worth the craziness? For me, yes. Only because I'm insane enough that if I knew it was out and I wasn't watching it I would have been going berserk - side note, berserk is such a cool word. We got there a little after ten to stand in line but we cut in with our family/friends who were there much earlier. So yes, it was a bit of a madhouse. And I think I had the single best seat in the whole theater. DIRECTLY in the center. That was just pure luck - but like I said earlier, it was a banner day for me (office, 30 rock, twilight, best seat ever? COME ON PEOPLE!).
One thing was annoying: teenagers. TONS OF THEM. Giggling at the worst spots! Mostly because if you put too many excited teenagers in any given area they're going to giggle, whether it's a graveside funeral or a movie theater...but I'll blog more about that later. I'm giving everyone about a week or 10 days (if I can wait that long) before I start knocking out spoilers like you've never seen before. I've got things to say about this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was PLENTY of screaming when the HP and Half Blood Prince trailer came on. Seriously. So Twilight fans and HP fans are probably the same people.

Taylor.will.die. HP trailer AND Twilight!?!?!?! What better way to celebrate the end of her first Finals ever! A moment she'll remember for the rest of her life.

OK, we NEED to talk about Twilight. I'll call you soon.
