It's not me, it's you.

Now, I don't need to spell this out for you, but I will anyway. I'm not exactly known for my sense of fashion. I try to at least put myself together once a week for church and I've been known to throw on some earrings when I go pick up Cameron from preschool (the other kids moms are HAWT), but aside from that I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. And usually my jeans are too tight and my shirt has shrunken and no longer fits my freakishly long torso. But despite all of this, I really like fashion; I'm just a bit of a neophyte.

Writing, however, is something I know. I don't have a ton of tolerance for poor writing (one more reason the whole Stephenie Meyer obsession is a total anomaly). I may not be super amazing at it, but I try to hold my own; and I think I've got a pretty good eye for what's good and what's less so.

SO, when I found THIS blog I just about toppled over with joyness and happitude. This blog is all about fashion, yes. Add to that the fact that it's extremely well-written. But that's not all, folks. This sucker is cherry-topped with sarcasm so biting I find myself looking for teeth marks. LOVE. THIS. BLOG. Why are you even wasting time here?! Go. Go my beloved blog readers. Go and be happy.

Oh wonderful! What I needed in my life was another time suck. You had me at "good writing"...

(It's brilliantly funny, BTW)

I concur with Nicole. Today while I should have been napping, I instead wasted my time reading page after page after page of "fugness", if you will. But you're right, it's hilarity at its finest!

LOVE. IT.

And I think all wanna-be blog writers should be required to take an remedial course in proper homonym usage, at the VERY least.

Of course, blogger doesn't allow us to edit out our typos, so that "an" before "remedial" in my last comment should be an "a."

Just so you all know that I know.

Chrysta, eye don't no what your talking about. Buy homo-whatcha-doodles dew ewe mein words about homosectchals?

Very nice, Anna. Does anyone see the connection between FUGLIES and FUGNESS?

Okay, case in point. This is an excerpt from a post about Lil Kim's outfit.
"And I'd say taking her pelvic dromedary on a spandex safari in dance pants the likes of which would give Brian Boitano acid flashbacks makes for some pretty hilariously ballsy gift-wrap."
It took me a couple read-throughs to even figure out what the heck the author is saying. But once I got it I nearly gave myself a hernia...

Oh, I got that one right away and nearly peed myself upon first reading :) "pelvic dromedary" hee-hee!

Sigh. I wish I was a Kilgore. I don't get it.

Deb,

"Pelvic dromedary" = camel toe;)

But maybe that's not what you call it in Pee-Yay?

Deb. No worries. I had to look up dromedary to get it.
Which, BTW, can we all admit to doing this every once in awhile? With the exception of Chrysta who knows every word printed in every dictionary everywhere, the rest of us have to look up words every now and then, right? I'm a big fan of dictionary.com and use it frequently. I hate when people use words incorrectly. I DESPISE when I do it. So yes. Pelvic dromedary equals camel toe. Very funny. But what was funniest was how - in ONE sentence - she also used "spandex safari" and then went on to reference Brian Boitano's acid trips (because who even knew he had those?!). Genius over there at El Fuggo.
And p.s. Deb - I think subconsciously I was drawn to this site because of the glaring similarities between Fugness and Fuglies.

I have learned so much in the last week or so from these blogs. Blogs make you smart.

Camel toe, yes I am painfully familiar with that. Intimately so, I'm afraid.

Yes, this new blog that you have forced me to frequent is funny. But even more funny are the comments on your blog. You girls are funny!

p.s. sorry for my spelling and/or grammer errors......I really don't mean to.

p.s.2 camel toes are NASTY!!
