Dearest children, God is near you

Watching o’er you day and night.

And delights to own and bless you,

If you strive to do what’s right.

He will bless you, He will bless you,

If you put your trust in Him.

Dearest children, holy angels

Watch your actions night and day,

And they keep a faithful record,

Of the good and bad you say.

Cherish virtue, cherish virtue,

God will bless the pure in heart.

Children, God delights to teach you

By his Holy Spirit’s voice.

Quickly heed it’s faithful promptings.

Day by day you’ll then rejoice.

Oh, prove faithful, oh, prove faithful

To your God and Zion’s cause.

Best time of day. Ever. Makes all your frustrations melt away when you see them sleeping.

As much as it drives me crazy when Izzy is up a million times in the middle of the night... when she's actually SLEEPING I can't help but sit and stare at her monitor, and I have to fight the urge to go get her out of bed and snuggle her!!

Anna! Yes, I remember Nicole asking me about the pregnancy jeans. And I WAS going to try to block you but then you said you'd find a way around it... :) Actually block stalkers are some of my very favorite people on earth. (Excluding all creeps.) Because I am one myself. So thank you for your comment!! I'm glad and flattered you remembered to stalk me again. Because now I can stalk you too and we can have a mutual stalker relationship, all shame behind us now.

P.S. Watching my kids sleep will bring me to tears every time. Sometimes tears from the guilt from my impatience with them during the day, but most times tears from the overwhelming love. It's so much I just don't know what to do with it. So I have to ram my head into the wall. No really, when my oldest was born and I was first introduced to "mother love", I really did nearly ram my head into the wall several times a day. It's just so all-consuming. Love this song, too.
