I know. Shame on me. It's been a LONG time with no blog. And I have so much to catch up on! My baby shower, Halloween! But, man, I'm tired. I thought I was tired last week, but no, I get more tired every day. It didn't help that I had the flu (along with Cam and Miles) over the weekend so I got nice and dehydrated and even MORE worn out. The doc says I'm still recovering and that's why I feel like a wrung-out dishrag...
I just want to say this one thing: Why isn't there some rule that pregnant women (at least the huge, enormous, beastly ones like myself) are immune from getting sick. ESPECIALLY the nauseous kind of sicknesses. Can I just tell you how MISERABLE it is to be nauseous and then have your body be some kind of playpen? Seriously, the whole time I was sick Sophie was in there doing tribal dances - lots of stomping, clapping and high kicks. What's up with that? Not cool, Sophie, not cool. And then there's the dehydration-induced contractions. Saturday morning I had contractions every 5 minutes for almost five hours. Again, not cool...
Anyway, that should explain my recent absence on the blog-o-sphere. Give me a couple more days to get back to a semi-normal state and I'll post about the shower, Halloween and more!
p.s. I hope you're all out shopping for your ugly sweaters....

I've missed your blogging, but I'll let it slide this time since you're pregnant and sick and I'm not messing with that. Hey, I think I want to move to Mexico...what do you think? I'd be closer to you! :) Oh, and I may buy my plane ticket this weekend, so I'll call you if I do.

I'm so sorry. I think you guys got it about as bad as we did. Minus the 8 months prego thing. It was hard enough without.I hope you guys are on the mend.

I have missed you, too. So sorry - his happened with Miles, too, didn't it?

We have 4 ugly sweaters, 2 to go. The problem is Jerry kind of likes his sweater! Granted it's not the ugliest of ugly, but still.

I wish you lived across town, then I could bring you a People magazine and a Diet Dr. Pepper. The thought will have to do...

Oh sister... hope you're feeling better ASAP. I'm glad I had my flu at 8 weeks, and not 8 months. I can't imagine the belly was helpful when you were hunched over the toilet, or bucket, or whatever you were hunched over... If it makes you feel any better, I'm kinda getting fat:)

Alyssa, I'm sure getting fat will make everyone feel better! And Anna, the next time Sophie is dancing around in there, you start dancing too and then see how SHE likes it! Pretty smart, eh?

Awe, I AGREE! Isn't it enuf that you're so pregnant? How isn't it against the laws of nature to get the flu?? I was 9 months preg with Austin when I got the Flu, I coughed and broke a rib! Man, how do you do it? I can barely handle 1 and be pregnant!
