That's interesting. When I read Chapter 1 of Midnight Sun (last winter/spring), I'm positive it was through her own stepheniemeyer.com website, which would lead one to believe that she approved its placement there.
I think she's being a big baby, yea it sucks but deal with it and move on! There's more too it.. I think she, for some reason, wanted an excuse out of the book??

I am with you on this one!!! I would have loved to have this as a companion read to Twilight.
She did post her first chapter probably because she was so excited about it. Kind of like the teaser chapter she put at the end of her other books.
